In 1941, late Jagan Nath Yadav established Jagan Nath & Sons in Karachi while working along with Jaal Bhai & Co., the handling contractor of Tata Steel in the region. The firm moved to Jalandhar, Punjab, following India's independence, and it resumed its handling partner role with Tata Steel in 1967.
